Junior Camp (rising 5th - 11th grade)
Coming Soon! - Day Camp

  • This is a working football camp where a great deal of emphasis will be put on improving your fundamental football skills.
  • A non-contact camp that is designed to work on skill development and football fundamentals for both offensive and defensive positions
  • Areas to be covered: position skills, (i.e., Rec. QB) conditioning, weight training and 7 on 7 competition.
  • Football players in rising 5th through 11th grades are eligible.
  • Lunch will be provided along with a camp t-shirt

High School Varsity Team Football Camp

The Appalachian State Football coaching staff will host the ASU High School Varsity Team Camp in Boone, NC on July 6th, 2009. This intensive camp is open to High School Varsity Teams Only. The team camp will provide individual instruction in the basic fundamentals of football from the Appalachian staff. Also, the strength and conditioning programs will be emphasized. Blocks of times will be allotted for team practice, team games, and team activities. Coaches can unite a group of individuals into a cohesive team and be the difference in the upcoming season.

Linemen/Skill - The objective of this portion of the team camp is to focus on techniques relative to the individual position. For linemen, this will include instruction on stance, explosion, lift, blocking surface, along with several different blocking techniques. The skill players will be coached in their respective position (QB's, RB's, WR's, and TE's). The focus of this segment will be on fundamentals.

Team Limits and Requirements - Team camp is limited to 16 full teams and each must have a minimum of 20 players in order to properly participate. Camp is limited to high school teams only and there will be no distinction between varsity and junior varsity teams. High school teams, of offensive and defensive linemen only, are welcome and not subject to our team limit. Teams must provide transportation to auxiliary fields during camp.

Camp Fees

PLAYERS: $TBA per resident player. $TBA per day player.

All teams must be accompanied by a coach.

COACHES: Up to four football coaches from each school bringing a minimum of 20 players will be provided meals and lodging at no cost. The cost for additional coaches is $TBA each.

Registration Information
Team Camp registrations must be accompanied by a $50 non-refundable deposit per player which will be applied toward the total cost of camp. Deposits must be paid by May 30th, 2009.

Spaces will not be held and confirmation materials will not be sent until deposits are paid.
Teams are not considered registered until deposits are paid.

Both deposit and balance payments must be paid with one school or association check, cashier check or Visa/Master Card, payable to Conferences & Institutes.

Balance must be paid in full prior to the start of camp.
Do not send or bring cash for registration.
